Rules and settings

A clear rulebook for a flexible league.

The core game is consistent: build a score, protect your player pool, avoid the cut. Your commissioner controls the format details that make your league yours.

Roster template

01

Each manager sets their own lineup.

Your commissioner configures the roster slots and eligible positions for the league, but you choose the players for your own lineup each week. The app does not force one universal template; your league's lineup planner always shows the exact slots you need to fill.

Scoring

02

Full PPR by default.

Points are computed from raw stat lines so the scoring logic is transparent and consistent. See the scoring page for the point-by-point formula.

Player usage

03

Each player is available once per team per season.

Once a player is used, that player is removed from the available pool for that team. This includes defensive selections when a league uses them.

Locks and privacy

04

Deadlines are set by the league.

Your commissioner chooses the league's lock policy, and each manager is responsible for submitting their lineup before the applicable deadline. Picks stay hidden from other teams until the picked player's game begins.

Eliminations

05

The lowest scores leave on schedule.

Each league has its own elimination schedule. The commissioner sets how many teams leave in each week and can shape the pace toward the final weeks.

Ties

06

Tied low scores survive the immediate cut.

A tie is only protected when it straddles the cut. If the whole tied group fits inside that week’s knockouts, every tied team is eliminated — there is nothing ambiguous about who is lowest.

Otherwise every tied team survives, and the knockouts the tie blocked carry forward with them. The next week settles that carryover first among the marked teams, in addition to that week’s own scheduled cut. If the tied teams tie again, the debt keeps carrying and accumulates rather than being broken arbitrarily.

Example

Week 1 schedules 1 cut. Teams A and B both score 0 and sit on the cut line while everyone else is higher — they both survive. Week 2 still schedules 1 cut. Among A and B, whoever scores lower in Week 2 is eliminated for the carryover. Separately, the lowest remaining team on the Week 2 board is also eliminated for the scheduled cut. So Week 2 can send two teams home even though the schedule says “1.” A team sitting above the Week 2 cut line can still go home if they are the worse prior-tie team.

Postponed games

07

Voided picks return to your pool.

If a picked player's game is postponed, that pick is voided, the player becomes available again, and a replacement is required before the applicable lock deadline.

Season points

08

Some leagues keep everyone scoring.

When the points race is enabled, eliminated teams can keep setting lineups and accumulating season points alongside the survivor standings.

Entertainment only

Survivor Fantasy Football is a free game for private groups.

The app tracks lineups, scores, standings, and eliminations. It is not a wagering or betting platform, and no money is handled anywhere in the product.
